INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the City of Independence have announced that tickets to the 35th annual NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship, presented by Susan G. Komen® Greater Kansas City are now available for purchase. The championship, which will be played out March 18 – 24, takes place at the Independence Events Center for the first time in its history.
All-tournament passes or single-session tickets can be purchased in-person at the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office, located at the east entrance of the Independence Events Center, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST. Additionally, fans can call 800.745.3000 or purchase online at Ticketmaster.com. All-tournament passes are priced at $75, while single-session prices range from $5 for children (5-11) to $10 for adults. Kids five-and-under are free. Special discounts are available for active and retired military, senior citizens and Independence School District students. A portion of the sale from every ticket will be donated to Komen Kansas City.
Additional discounts and ticket promotions include the following:
• Family Pack – four single-session tickets, parking pass and $20 in concessions for $50
• $5 ticket if you show your stub or all-tournament pass from the NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship
• $5 ticket if you show a ticket stub from a Missouri Mavericks or Missouri Comets game
• $5 with 2-or-more can goods, to be donated to Community Services League
• $50 all-tournament pass with 2-or-more canned goods.
The national championship consists of nine sessions, with each session having four games during the first four days, before switching to two games on semifinal night (March 23) and one for the championship final (March 24).
