Current Community Grants

Susan G. Komen is the source for funding breast cancer detection, support and educational awareness in the Kansas & Western Missouri Service Area. Komen Kansas & Western Missouri is investing in education, diagnosis, treatment, and support programs provided by local organizations that serve uninsured or underinsured residents in our service area, through scientific research as well as the affiliate itself. Komen KSWMO invested more than $669,000 in local community programs and research support over the past year. Since our founding, we’ve invested more than $27.5 million in local breast health agencies, organizations, local programs, and cutting-edge research.

It is estimated that thousands of people in our service area today are living with breast cancer.  The funds Komen grants to community programs in our service area have made a positive difference in the lives of those living with this deadly disease.
