How to Apply for Community Grants

The promise of Susan G. Komen is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018, Susan G. Komen Kansas & Western Missouri invested more than $669,000 in local community programs and research support. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in our 112-county service area. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.

Susan G. Komen Kansas & Western Missouri begins accepting
grant applications in September each year.

Applications are due to the office via the online grants system GeMS
no later than at 5P CT on November 16, 2018 .

Grant award notifications will be late in Late March, and, if awarded,
grants will begin April 1  and end March 31 the following year.
