Susan G. Komen Greater Kansas City is proud to present Connected for the Cure: A virtual reality experience of a breast cancer diagnosis through the eyes and voice of a survivor. Connected is a mobile inspiration concept designed to put Komen KC out in the community and allow our team to speak with women and men about their personal breast cancer risk.

The goal of Connected is to inspire individuals to get screened and to know their personal health history. This is accomplished through the use of a specially-designed mobile application, breast health education and quiz, risk assessment survey and virtual reality video.

Connected for the Cure was partially funded by a generous grant from Walgreens and through ongoing fundraising support from Susan G. Komen Greater Kansas City.

A very special thank you to our survivors for sharing their stories: Tameka Dickerson, Brandi Palmer & Dolores Quinn

Thank you to the dedicated men and women of MBB+ & Hint for their work on the project.
