How to Apply for Community Grants

The promise of Susan G. Komen is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.

The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based Breast Health Education and Patient Navigation projects for the medically underserved in our 112-county service area.

To apply for a grant:

  1. Read the 2020/21 Community Grant RFA in full.
  2. Review the most recent Community Profile data to understand the needs of our service area.
  3. Access the Applicant Guide & Online Application Resources below.
  4. Apply through the Komen Grants Portal. (An instruction manual for registering and accessing the portal can be found below)

The application process is competitive, regardless of whether or not an organization has received a grant in the past. Funding in subsequent years is never guaranteed.

All applications must be submitted online through the Komen Grants Portal before the application deadline to be considered.

Extensions to the submission deadline will not be granted, with the rare exception made for severe extenuating circumstances at the sole discretion of Komen KSWMO
