PARKING: With nearly 18,000 participants, supporters, volunteers and vendors we know that parking is going to be a challenge. Thanks to Worlds of Fun we know we’ll have the room to make this happen onsite. Parking is $10/car; $5 donated back to Komen Kansas City. Plan ahead to carpool: CLICK HERE for directions to Worlds of Fun. Race participants must enter off of Worlds of Fun Avenue (Either Main Gate or Business Entrance). Volunteers with a parking pass may park at the Oceans of Fun entrance off of Parvin Road.

FUNDRAISING: You can turn in fundraising dollars at any of the Packet Pick Up & Late Registration events through Race Day. On Race Day: look for the Capitol Federal Piggy Bank for the Cure display including a 12′ tall pink pig in the center of the Expo area. Please drop off your fundraising there. The fundraising contest continues through 10.31.2015 to qualify for incentives.

$10 WORLDS OF FUN RACE DAY PASSES: Race Day passes that allow you to enter the park at 10A to stay and play (on 09.13.2015) will be sold Race Week during packet pick up and late registration as well as on Race Day at the information tent and at packet pick up/late registration inside the park. If you pre-purchased a Race Day pass it will be included in your packet during pick up next week. In case you did not know, Worlds of Fun has already begun their transition to Fall/Halloween themed decorations! Be ready for pumpkins, ghosts, hay, cornucopias and other unique photo backgrounds throughout the park!

$40 WORLDS OF FUN ANY DAY PASSES: Any Day Passes (Good any day but Saturdays in October as Worlds of Fun hosts gigantic Halloween-themed events all month long. In fact you’ll see those decorations already up throughout the park) will be sold Race Week during packet pick up and late registration as well as on Race Day at the information tent and at packet pick up/late registration inside the park.

RUNNERS (TIMED or UNTIMED): With only one start line we ask that you make your way to the start line location in the southern most lot (Near main stage) early to ensure you will be at the beginning of the pack. Timed runners (Blue Race Bibs) and untimed runners will begin at 815A and soon after. Walkers and 1 Mile Family Fun Run participants will follow after that. Your time will begin when you cross the start line! Please be patient as we have thousands of participants and a more cozy start line than in the past. Results will be available at the Ultramax Sports tent in the Expo or posted at later in the day.

RACE COURSE: You will be running in and out of Worlds of Fun (5K and 1 Mile courses) and Oceans of Fun (5K course only) throughout the morning. Please note the park has many hills (uphill and downhill), some narrow corners; and straight-a-ways as you run/walk through park attractions. We have marked the Race route to the best of our ability with chalk on the pavement and signage on each side of the path as well as staffing hundreds of volunteers along the route. Please watch for route markings, signage and listen to the directions from our course volunteers. Also, the 5K/1 Mile courses are together for a half mile and split early on in the Race route. 5K runners/walkers should go to the right and 1 mile runners/walkers should go to the left! Signs and volunteers will be at that point to remind everyone as well.

BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS: Be sure to stop in the Survivors Pavilion sponsored by Cancer Treatment Centers of America for a little R&R (Plus some other goodies specially-reserved for you and a guest). Make sure to wear your pink shirts and pink hats to let everyone know you are a fighter! The pavilion is located in Fest Haus (just inside of the main gate and to the right) and is open from 6A until 930A with the annual survivors parade at 730A.

SURVIVOR PARADE: The annual survivor parade will take place at 730A – This is 2 hours earlier than previous years. Plan on meeting at the Worlds of Fun Season Passport Office just up the hill from the Survivors Pavilion at 715A. The parade will begin at approximately 730A.

RACE ROUTE & START TIMES: Runners (Timed & Untimed) will begin at 815A; Walkers (5K or 1 Mile) will begin shortly thereafter. All will start at the southernmost parking lot next to main stage! The new Race Route and full property map is now posted: CLICK HERE for a printable copy.
